TORC DELIVERY NOTES

All deliveries of our pots and planters are carried out by a long-established courier company based in Portsmouth, UK. Once the order is complete and ready to ship we will liaise with the courier company in conjunction with yourselves to secure a delivery date that is convenient to you. They will deliver to the home/business address supplied on the order but they are not responsible for placing the pot into position. Your Torc pot will be delivered into your care outside the address provided. To ensure the smooth running of the delivery it is important that you are at home to receive it and that you have organised an adequate number of people/equipment to place the order within your property. If for any reason there is no one at home to receive the order we will have to re-arrange delivery and this will incur an additional fee. Occasionally, due to circumstances outside of our control, such as adverse weather or traffic problems, the delivery date may change. We will advise you and reorganise a date to suit you. It will be your responsibility to check the goods on arrival and if any damage has been sustained in transit please advise us immediately upon receipt of your Torc pot. Photographic evidence will be required as we will be expected to provide this to the courier company. In the unfortunate event that your pot has been damaged in transit, we would require notification within 24 hours of taking delivery.

It is imperative that all packaging is removed from the pot upon receipt - if moisture gets trapped between the packaging and the pot it has the potential leave stains and/or dull the finish of the pot.

CARING FOR YOUR TORC POT

Your Torc Pot will be easy to take care of if you heed the following advice. It is essential that all packaging is removed from the pot as soon as you take delivery. It is possible that the pot could become stained if the packaging is left on - wet packaging encasing a pot definitely has the potential to stain. Once your Torc pot is in place you should use the rubber feet we have provided to place underneath it. This will elevate the pot slightly off the floor to help drainage water run away from the pot and reduce the risk of staining around the base. It is important to keep the drainage hole in the bottom of the pot free from blockage to enable your plants to flourish. Please do not apply any harsh cleaning products to the pot as this could mark or damage the finish - particularly the metallic finishes. Water and sponge will suffice to clean off any marks that will inevitably occur from time to time being an outdoor dweller! Some of the finishes we offer are metallic and/or verdigris and these need to be treated in the same manner as the other members of the Torc family of pots e.g. gentle cleaning with water and sponge. If your pot is intended to live indoors we offer a range of saucers to sit the pot on and this can be colour and texture matched to your Torc pot.

Please note that our metallic finishes are achieved by using metal powders. As a result, they will patina over time, and therein lies the beauty.

TAXES AND DUTIES

It should be noted that goods coming into the UK will be subject to VAT and that the haulage company will not release the goods until the tax has been paid.

All orders being sent outside the UK are sent using Incoterms DAP. Any duties payable upon arrival in the destination country will be the responsibility of the purchaser.
